Maddy Broadfoot and Annette Burke recently undertook field work at Boambee Creek and Moonee Creek on the NSW North Coast. This trip is a part of a larger field campaign to develop novel techniques to map estuary inlet morphology through time using multispectral imagery.

During this field trip, Maddy flew a drone equipped with a multispectral sensor whilst Annette undertook hydrographic surveys. Maddy uses the hydrographic survey data to validate the multispectral bathymetry derived from the the drone imagery. This trip was full of beautiful weather and happy scientists!
